The School System Between Japan and Turkey

  All over the world, the school systems are different. Each country has a specific school system. One of the differences is school year. This essay will show that differences and similarities about school year between Japan and Turkey.
   The school systems in Japan and Turkey are different in that students go to school in different periods. In Japan, school year starts in April, whereas in Turkey, school year start in September. The Japanese and Turkish schools are similar in that they take about 36 weeks. However, there is a different thing between them. Japanese schools have three terms. In contrast, Turkish schools have two terms. In Japan, schools end in March, whereas In Turkey, schools end in June. Turkish students have a holiday for three months. Both Japanese and Turkish schools run Monday to Friday. Japanese schools start at 8.30 a.m, and end at 3.50 p.m. Turkish schools, on the other hand, has two  kinds of hours. First of all, some students go to school from 6.30 a.m to 11.30 a.m, and the others go to school from 12.00 p.m to 17.00 p.m. In this system, students do not eat a lunch school. They do not have a lunch break. Secondly, some students have to be at school from 8.30 a.m to 3.50 p.m. Japanese and Turkish schools are similar in that they have a lunch break.
  Japanese schools are different from Turkish schools in that their school year runs from April to March of next year. As a result, each student's rate of success changes. It is open to discussion which is best.
